I’ve been building models since, I believe, 1973. My grandmother took me to the toy shop in downtown Orange, California so that I could choose a birthday gift for myself. Well, I chose this.
We rode the bus home and proceeded to work together on it. We were clueless as we sat at the kitchen table but we did our best. What we ended up with was a glue bomb like no other. We even glued the decals on with tube glue. But it was fun, and I’ll never forget that first kit.
This site is a community having fun, sharing ideas, and making friends. I’ll share how I do things, not tell you how to do things. I’m not here to tell you how to model. There is no right or wrong in my workshop. Just plastic, glue, paint, and a bit of whiskey once in a while. Just relax and have a good time while you’re here.
